Job summary

STARLIGHT Business Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer (Senior) to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions for business operations. The role requires hands-on development, problem solving, and rapid delivery of AI applications and automated workflows.

You will integrate LLMs, AI APIs, and various platforms, collaborating with business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Strong communication and rapid learning are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Software Eng or related field.
• 2-5 years in software development, AI engineering, automation, or related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with Python or JavaScript/Node.js.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and integrations.
• Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate is an advantage.
• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector DBs, AI agents, prompt engineering, or tool calling is a strong advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, databases, Git, Docker, or CI/CD.

About The Role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with strong experience in Artificial Intelligence, automation, and software development to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions for real-world business operations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can understand business challenges, translate them into technical solutions, and rapidly develop AI applications, automated workflows, integrations, and internal tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify business processes that can be improved through AI and automation.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, agents, and automated workflows.
• Integrate LLMs, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms into business systems.
• Develop automation solutions using Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Build and test prototypes and Proof-of-Concept (POC) solutions rapidly.
• Connect AI solutions with existing business applications and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and optimize AI applications, APIs, integrations, and automation processes.
• Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Continuously evaluate new AI tools, models, frameworks, and automation technologies.
• Document solutions, workflows, integrations, and implementation procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in software development, AI engineering, automation, solutions engineering, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience developing applications using Python, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Experience working with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and system integrations.
• Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar platforms is an advantage.
