ATLANTIC GRAINS INC. is seeking a safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support warehouse and logistics operations.
You will safely move finished products and raw materials, perform daily inspections, and maintain clean and organized storage areas while complying with GMP, GWP, and FSMS standards. The role requires a college or vocational graduate, at least 6 months of forklift experience, and NC II certification with a valid driver's license.
We are looking for a safety-conscious and dependable Forklift Operator to support warehouse and logistics operations by safely handling, transporting, loading, unloading, and storing finished products and raw materials. The successful candidate will perform daily forklift inspections, ensure proper product handling and storage, maintain warehouse cleanliness, and help achieve efficient warehouse operations while complying with food safety, quality, and safety standards.
Operate forklifts safely to transport, load, unload, stack, and store materials and finished products.
Perform daily pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance checks using the Forklift Unit Checklist.
Report equipment malfunctions, damages, and maintenance requirements to the immediate superior.
Ensure proper storage, stock movement, and product handling to prevent damage and maintain inventory accuracy.
Inspect products for damaged packaging and report discrepancies, shortages, or pilferage.
Assist in stock picking, palletizing, warehouse organization, and space optimization.
Monitor the availability of clean pallet boards and maintain housekeeping in warehouse and loading areas.
Support other departments requiring forklift operations when needed.
Prepare required operational reports and comply with company policies, GMP, GWP, and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) requirements.
Promote workplace safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork in daily operations.
College or vocational graduate in any field.
At least 6 months of experience in forklift operation and warehouse operations.
Must possess NC II Certification in Heavy Equipment Operation (Forklift) and a valid driver's license.
Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is an advantage.
Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory handling, forklift safety, and Good Warehousing Practices (GWP).
Reliable, safety-oriented, physically fit, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
