Job summary

Our Clients in Makati seeks a Forex Trader to manage client portfolios and execute currency trades in collaboration with the Forex team. The role develops leads and monitors market movements, providing insights to the Head Trader and coordinating with Back Office for accurate processing.

Candidates should have 2+ years in FX trading, a four-year degree, and preferably a CTP certification. This hybrid, dayshift position offers growth in a dynamic treasury function and regulatory exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any four-year course.
• At least 2 years of FX trading or dealing experience in a bank.
• CTP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute foreign currency trades in line with client portfolio requirements.
• Manage and monitor client portfolios in coordination with the Forex department.
• Generate and develop leads independently to support portfolio growth.
• Monitor forex levels and market movements.
• Stay informed on current market trends and developments.
• Provide market insights to the Head Trader.
• Coordinate with the Forex Back Office to ensure smooth processing of forex transactions.
• Monitor trade-related activities and address issues affecting transaction completion.
• Keep updated on BSP regulations and requirements.
• Attend relevant seminars and activities to enhance forex trading knowledge and skills.

• Monitor forex levels and relevant market movements.
• Stay informed on current market trends and developments.
• Provide market insights and updates to the Head Trader.

Trade Processing & Coordination

• Coordinate with the Forex Back Office to ensure smooth processing of forex transactions.
• Monitor trade-related activities and address issues affecting transaction completion.

Regulatory & Professional Development

• Keep updated on applicable BSP regulations and requirements.
• Attend relevant seminars and activities to enhance forex trading knowledge and skills.
