Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Cavite is looking for a Safety Officer to enhance safety programs and ensure compliance with health standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with supervisors, conducting safety inspections and training sessions, and investigating incidents to promote a safe work environment. A Bachelor’s degree in Safety and Health or related field and BOSH certification are required. Benefits include life insurance and free meals.

Qualifications

• With completed BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) training.
• Certifications in Occupational Safety & Health, First Aid, Fire Safety, Food Safety preferred.
• Training on DOLE-compliant OSH standards, GMP, and food handling safety advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Supervisors to improve operational efficiency and safety standards.
• Develop and implement safety policies in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Act as Canteen Representative for health and environmental matters.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections and safety training sessions.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend measures.
• Promote correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform safety audits and inspections across various areas of the facility.
