Job summary

Alternatives Food Corp in the Philippines is seeking an innovative R&D Specialist to take end-to-end ownership of product development and enhancement. You will develop new products, optimize existing formulations, and collaborate with the Business Development team to align with strategic goals.

You will handle comprehensive product documentation, regulatory registration, and lead technology transfer of new products into commercial production, while maintaining flexibility to train at other sites

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology.
Hands-on R&D background with direct work experience performing product development, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Innovative mindset with high mobility and strong problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to undergo training in another location when necessary.

Responsibilities

Product Development & Improvement: Formulate new products and improve existing product lines to meet business targets and customer needs.
Technology Transfer: Lead the scale-up and transition of new product formulations into the production phase.
Documentation & Registration: Maintain complete product line documentation, regulatory compliance, and product registration.
Troubleshooting & Support: Identify root causes for product or process issues and implement effective R&D solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Business Development and production teams to optimize line integration and provide customer support.
