Job summary

ATLANTIC GRAINS INC. in Calamba, Philippines, seeks a Quality Controller to monitor quality and safety of raw materials, in-process products, packaging materials and finished goods throughout manufacturing.

You will conduct sampling, inspections, and documentation to ensure GMP, HACCP, and food safety compliance. Collaborating with Production and other departments, you will address quality issues, verify CCPs including metal detector checks, and support audits and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Graduates with BS in Food Technology, Food Engineering or Industrial Technology (Major in Food Technology) are preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with related degrees may be considered with relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling, inspection, and quality monitoring of raw materials, in-process products, packaging materials, and finished goods.
• Monitor quality parameters across milling, blending, packing, storage, and loading processes.
• Perform sampling for laboratory and microbiological analysis per standards.
• Verify dosage, water addition, product specs, packaging materials, and process requirements.
• Ensure GMP compliance, cleanliness, and food safety across production areas.
• Assess dispositions for materials and products and coordinate with departments on issues.
• Prepare quality checklists, reports, and electronic records updates.
• Monitor CCPs including metal detector verification and hygiene practices.
• Participate in internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide clear reports on incidents and non-conformities affecting safety and quality.
