Job summary

New Food Coatings (Phils) Inc. in Laguna is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure compliance with approved procedures and to manage documentation at our food manufacturing site.

You will conduct supplier evaluations, ensure proper testing of materials, and implement corrective actions for non-conformances. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related, at least 3 years in QA, basic food laboratory skills, strong communication, and high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Quality Assurance.
• Basic food laboratory skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly detail oriented with strong self-initiative.
• Willing to travel for field audits.
• Proficient in MS Applications (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all raw materials have their corresponding documentation requirements on file.
• Ensure that all tests for raw materials and production premixes/colour mixes are in accordance with approved procedures and that non-conforming products are put on-hold, properly reported and documented.
• Conduct supplier evaluations including performing on-site audits.
• Ensure that all process control testing in the factory is carried out in accordance with approved procedures and that non-conforming products are put on-hold, properly reported, documented immediately.
• Administer the current policy change control process and contribute to evaluation alignment and automation of processes to standardize operations.
• Manage and track policies, revisions, change documentation, and signature logs according to Company Policy.
• Implement and/or follow up on corrective actions for all non-conformances raised.
