Job summary

Global Food Solutions, Incorporated is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Staff in Laguna, Philippines. This role focuses on sourcing food ingredients and raw materials, closely coordinating with the production team, and monitoring inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, purchasing experience in food or manufacturing, and strong organizational skills. Opportunities for hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment are available, and willingness to render overtime is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, preferably in food or manufacturing industry.
• Knowledgeable in handling food/raw material sourcing.
• Willing to go inside production area for actual inventory checking.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase food ingredients and raw materials based on production requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Production Team for daily material needs and usage.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Conduct actual checking of inventory inside the production area.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and track deliveries.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing when needed.
• Ensure quality and compliance of purchased materials.
• Keep accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory movement.

Skills

Proficient in MS Excel and basic documentation

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Technology, Business Administration, or related field
