Job summary

GLOBAL FOODSOLUTIONS, INC. is seeking an Audit Specialist to strengthen accuracy, compliance, and internal controls across departments in San Pablo, Laguna. You will review financial and operational documents, perform surprise cash counts, and prepare audit findings for management.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and 1–2 years of related experience, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of auditing principles. FMCG or food industry experience is a MUST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 1–2 years of related experience or training.
• Knowledge of basic auditing and accounting principles.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly detail-oriented and comfortable working with financial and operational information.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Food Industry, or related fields is a MUST

Responsibilities

• Review and verify financial and operational documents such as expense reimbursements, cash advances, liquidations, petty cash, payroll, and purchase requests.
• Conduct regular surprise cash counts and reconcile cash balances, receipts, and pending replenishments.
• Review departmental processes and procedures to check compliance with established company policies.
• Conduct special audits and investigations involving reported violations, fraud, or possible lapses.
• Review and validate departmental KRA/KPI results on a regular basis.
• Analyze records, transactions, and processes to identify discrepancies, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare clear audit findings, documentation, and reports for management.
• Work closely with different departments to clarify findings and support appropriate corrective actions.
