Job summary

SuperLiving, a health and lifestyle app, seeks a Flutter Developer (SDE 2) to deliver fast, fluid mobile experiences with pixel-perfect UI across Android and iOS.

You will engineer high-performance features, implement premium UI, and optimize feeds, while collaborating with product designers to translate Figma prototypes into polished code.

Qualifications

• Flutter development experience with shipping mobile apps.
• Strong knowledge of Dart, asynchronous programming and mixins.
• Experience profiling with Flutter DevTools for performance and memory.
• Familiarity with native builds in Android Studio and Xcode.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and local storage (Hive, Sqflite, Shared Preferences).

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance mobile modules using Flutter for snappy UI and 60/120 FPS.
• Implement premium UI/UX with advanced animations and transitions.
• Optimize content feeds for smooth scrolling and memory efficiency.
• Architect robust state management (Bloc, Riverpod, or Provider).
• Profile and reduce memory leaks and costly rebuilds on main thread.
• Maintain modular, clean architecture aligned with SOLID principles.
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma prototypes to pixel-perfect code.
• Ensure cross-platform consistency with Material and Cupertino design guidelines.
• Contribute to CI/CD and engineering standards.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Flutter Developer (SDE 2) who is obsessed with "jank-free" performance and high-fidelity mobile experiences. As a health and lifestyle app, SuperLiving relies on a snappy, intuitive interface to keep users engaged with their daily wellness routines.

Key Responsibilities

1. High-Performance Feature Development

• Complex Feature Engineering: Develop and maintain high-performance mobile modules using Flutter that deliver a seamless user experience.
• Premium UI/UX: Implement advanced animations, custom painters, and transitions to ensure the app feels fluid and high-end.
• Feed Optimization: Build and tune content-heavy feeds, ensuring buttery-smooth scrolling (60 FPS/120 FPS) and efficient memory management for heavy assets.
• Reactive Systems: Architect robust state management solutions (Bloc, Riverpod, or Provider) to handle real-time health data and dynamic content updates.
• Performance Profiling: Actively profile and eliminate memory leaks, unnecessary widget rebuilds, and expensive computational tasks on the main thread.
• Scalable Codebase: Maintain a clean, modular, and testable codebase by strictly adhering to SOLID principles and clean architecture.
• Design Fidelity: Collaborate closely with Product Designers to translate complex Figma prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive code.
• Platform Nuance: Ensure cross-platform consistency while intelligently respecting Material (Android) and Cupertino (iOS) design languages.
• Engineering Excellence: Participate in rigorous code reviews and contribute to the evolution of our internal engineering standards and CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core

• 1-3 Years of Experience: Professional experience building and shipping Flutter apps (ideally at a product-based startup).
• Dart Proficiency: Deep understanding of Dart, asynchronous programming, and mixins.
• Performance Mindset: Hands-on experience using Flutter DevTools to profile rendering, memory usage, and CPU performance.
• Platform Knowledge: Comfortable navigating Android Studio and Xcode to manage native builds, configurations, and deployment.
• API Integration: Strong experience with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and local storage solutions like Hive, Sqflite, or Shared Preferences.

Bonus

• Content-Heavy Background: Experience building apps with infinite scrolling feeds, social media-like interfaces, or e-commerce catalogs.
• Unit Testing: Experience writing robust widget and unit tests to ensure application stability.
