A leading company in the refreshment industry is looking for a Fleet Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations of company vehicles. The ideal candidate should be an automotive graduate with supervisory experience, ensuring all maintenance schedules are executed timely and effectively, contributing to operational efficiency.
DETAILED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises the various maintenance activities within his assigned shift.
Receives and diagnoses reported trouble and prepares job orders and assigns personnel for the job.
Evaluates and estimates the cost of fleet repairs/refurbishing for an outside job.
Recommends trip tickets for troubleshooting of bogged-down company vehicles outside the Plant.
Signs confirm job accomplishments, whether the job is done by regular Fleet personnel or by an outside contractor.
Conducts an estimate of damages on company vehicles.
Prepares technical reports(Vehicular accident/Engine troubles)
Implements the scheduled PMS of all company vehicles and executes on time.
Prepares daily Fleet Status Report.
Prepares mechanics schedule(Rotation for 3 shifts every 15 days)
Assists and records on the vehicle history card all repairs that are done.
Inspects and accepts delivery or purchase of spare parts, materials, and supplies based on quality and specification.
Prepares a Preventive maintenance checklist for all repairs are done.
Prepares/Monitors purchase requisition for outside work and direct issue parts and materials.
Evaluates performance of personnel and discusses result with them.
Maintains cleanliness and good housekeeping on their work areas.
Monitors the daily dispatch and trips of route truck.
Performs other duties as may be assigned to them by the fleet Superintendent.
Monitors the operational and factory overhead expenses and ensures that this is within the allowed budget.
Monitors of purchase requests for spare parts.
Inventory of vehicle spare parts.
Inventory of tools and motorpool equipment(Twice a year)
Ensures that the motor pool equipment is in good condition.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Level of Experience:
Automotive graduate
Basic supervisory seminar.
At least 2-3 years’ experience as a motor pool/Shop Supervisor.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge in Fleet maintenance, basic troubleshooting& and engine under chassis, parts inventory control & fleet management system.
Computer literate. Good communication and written skills. Knows how to drive and with a valid driver's license, preferably restriction code 2 & 3.
