Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience as a Mechanic, ideally in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve a range of mechanical issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and safety best practices.
• A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to continually learn and develop your skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance on machineries and equipment.
• Collaborates with the Chief Mechanic to better understand and identify issues.
• Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
• Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
• Diagnose and repair a range of mechanical issues across the vehicle fleet
• Follow established service procedures and safety protocols to ensure the highest quality of work
• Maintain detailed records of all work completed and parts used
• Collaborate with the wider team to resolve complex technical problems
• Ensure the workshop is kept clean, organised and well-stocked with necessary tools and equipment
