Job summary

Kroll Global Solutions Inc. is seeking a Network Security Engineer I to design, implement, administer, monitor, and improve enterprise firewall and network security platforms.

The role involves collaborating with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to protect critical systems in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on firewall and security experience, expertise with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower/ASA, or Check Point, and strong knowledge of TCP/IP,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of enterprise firewall and network security experience.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower/ASA, or Check Point.
• Strong TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, NAT and network design knowledge.
• Experience with security monitoring and logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and maintain enterprise firewall platforms.
• Manage firewall policies, security zones, NAT rules, VPN configurations.
• Review and implement firewall changes per standards and CM procedures.
• Monitor firewall performance, capacity, and security events.
• Conduct rule reviews and policy optimization for security posture.
• Implement and maintain network segmentation and Zero Trust principles.
• Collaborate with infra, cloud, and apps teams to design secure solutions.
• Support hybrid and cloud security architectures across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Assist with security assessments and remediation efforts.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
