Job summary

FIS seeks an experienced IT Operations Leader to drive end-to-end delivery and operational excellence for critical technology programs. You will oversee 24/7 production environments, manage incidents, and align services with business goals.

You will lead distributed teams, manage budgets, and collaborate with technology leadership to implement strategic initiatives, while ensuring high availability and resilience across production systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading IT operations, service delivery, or infrastructure teams.
• Strong expertise in managing production environments with high availability.
• Incident, problem, and change management practices.
• Experience leading distributed teams and driving performance outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for executive audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technology; fintech background helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery and operational excellence for critical technology programs and services.
• Oversee 24/7 operations ensuring application availability and service continuity.
• Drive incident, problem, and change management to minimize disruption.
• Manage escalations and stakeholder communications for production issues.
• Deliver service levels aligned to SLAs, KPIs, and business expectations.
• Plan resources to balance workloads and optimize utilization.
• Establish governance frameworks and operational policies.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity readiness.
• Manage budgets and identify efficiency opportunities.
