Purpose of the Job
A Finished Artist is skilled in the print and digital field, has a high level of attention to detail and time management, and be organized and methodical to create quality assets efficiently.
You will transform designs into print-ready deliverables, custom bleeds, copy and content updates, revise data charts and or graphic content, correct die-lines, spot colors and pre-flight creative files.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare print-ready files for production, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and project specifications.
- Produce high-quality finished art files for print materials such as brochures, posters, packaging, and signage, meticulously reviewing and refining designs to meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and creative teams to understand client requirements, provide recommendations, and deliver solutions that align with client objectives and expectations.
- Maintain proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, staying updated on new features and functionalities to optimize design workflows and efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in print and digital design, incorporating new techniques and tools to enhance design quality and effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- 4+ year’s experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment with proven success. Agency experience is a plus.
- Must have very good attention to detail and the ability to interpret client brand guidelines into flawless creative executions, as well as take comps to production and make press-ready.
- Understanding of design functions and fundamentals – typography, layout, color theory and management, photography, and copy.
- High level of expertise on file resolution, output principles, and both digital & print pre-flight processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively, and accountability to see projects all the way through to completion.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet defined and often aggressive deadlines while collaborating with other designers and various stakeholders.
