Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Fund Financial Reporting Supervisor to lead the preparation and review of financial statements for hedge and private equity funds. The role requires strong US GAAP knowledge and experience with IFRS exposure, backed by solid fund administration understanding.

You will mentor juniors and seniors, drive process improvements, and partner with global teams. A CPA/CA/ACCA or MBA Finance is preferred, along with advanced Excel/Word skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • 6–9 years' experience handling investment fund financial statements.
  • 2–3 years of financial statement review experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS exposure preferred.
  • Solid understanding of fund structures and fund administration.
  • CPA, CA, ACCA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements for hedge and private equity funds.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and relevant reporting standards.
  • Prepare and review regulatory FAR forms for investment funds.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior and senior team members.
  • Support training and capability-building initiatives.

  • Partner with global teams, auditors, and stakeholders on complex matters.
  • Investigate reporting issues and recommend solutions.
  • Monitor reporting tools and templates for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support managers in maintaining team performance and quality standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fund Financial Reporting Supervisor should have:
