Northern Trust's Manila office offers a hybrid working environment for a Financial Reporting specialist within the Asset Servicing group. You will support valuation reporting and unitized valuation and reporting activities in a global network.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in financial statement preparation or reporting, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and CPA is highly desirable. Prior experience with regulatory reporting will be valued as you mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

At least 4 years overall experience in financial statement preparation or financial reporting in an Audit Firm, or financial institution.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA is highly desirable.
Background in accounting/regulatory/statutory reporting will be preferred.

Responsabilités

Ensures that the team/divisions goals for accuracy and timeliness are maintained.
Plans and manages the team workflow to accomplish critical tasks on time.
Ensures that new procedures are effectively communicated and training is administered where needed.
Manages volumes of tasks to meet client deadlines.
Escalates relevant and critical issues to management and all pertinent partners in a timely and efficient manner.
Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
May have direct interaction with clients, external auditors of clients and/or Senior Management.
Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees.
May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role).
Delivers a work product that requires less revision.
