Job summary

KMC Solutions in Pasig City (The Podium, Ortigas Center) is seeking a Finance BI Analyst to design and deploy reporting and analytics solutions that enhance financial performance and decision-making.

You will shape a transition toward cloud-based data and reporting architecture, starting with existing data extracts and progressing to automated pipelines with scalable analytics capabilities. Hybrid work setup supports collaboration with Finance and IT stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience within Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a business-focused role with strong technical expertise.
• A degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Financial Reporting and Performance Management.
• Familiarity with ERP and financial systems.

Finance BI Analyst

Work Setup: Hybrid

The ideal candidate combines expertise in BI and analytics technologies with solid financial reporting knowledge. You can transform complex business requirements into reporting solutions to support business decision-making.

You are comfortable working with imperfect datasets and evolving architectures, while helping drive the organisation's journey toward a modern cloud-based reporting environment. The role will initially utilize reporting data extracts from existing systems. As the organization progresses, the reporting landscape will evolve toward a more integrated cloud-based data and reporting architecture supported by automated data pipelines. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping this transition and establishing scalable reporting and analytics capabilities for the future.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain reporting and analytics solutions supporting financial performance and business decision-making.

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, analytics methodologies, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

• Support the evolution of reporting capabilities from manually managed data extracts to integrated cloud-based enterprise data solutions.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and integrity across reporting and analytics products.

Reporting & Dashboard Development

• Extract, transform, and analyse data from enterprise systems, data warehouses, and financial platforms using SQL and modern data platforms.

• Design, develop, and maintain data models, transformations, and reporting data sets to support reporting solutions.

• Collaborate with Finance, management teams, IT partners, and business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable technical solutions and support decision-making.

• Understanding of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

• Knowledge of financial flows such as accruals, cost allocation and cost drivers.

• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Develop automated reporting solutions covering:

  • P&L statements

  • Budget versus actual analysis

  • Cash flow reporting

  • Operational and financial KPIs

• Develop paginated reports and advanced visualizations tailored to business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience within Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a business-focused role with strong technical expertise.

Preferred Qualifications
