The role emphasizes strong Excel skills with advanced modelling techniques and clear presentation of insights to senior management and investors. Hybrid work includes 3x onsite and 2x WFH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• Strong background in financial modelling, FP&A, investment analysis, corporate finance, or similar.
• Understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for forecasting, budgeting, valuation, investment analysis, and planning.
• Develop integrated P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow models with assumptions and schedules.
• Perform DCF, NPV, IRR, and comparable company analyses to support decisions.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess key drivers and uncertainties.
• Analyze historical data and forecast revenue, costs, cash flow and profitability.
• Prepare models to support M&A, project finance, fundraising, and strategic planning.

Job Title: Financial Modeler

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 12:00 PM PH Time (Hybrid | 3x Onsite, 2x WFH)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Modeler to develop and maintain sophisticated financial models that support forecasting, budgeting, valuation, investment analysis, and strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate has strong financial modelling and Excel skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for forecasting, budgeting, valuation, investment analysis, and business planning.


• Develop integrated Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow models, including detailed assumptions and supporting schedules.


• Perform DCF, NPV, IRR, and comparable company analysis to support investment and strategic decisions.


• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess the potential impact of key assumptions and business drivers.


• Analyse historical financial data and develop revenue, cost, cash flow, and profitability forecasts.


• Build robust Excel-based financial models using advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and other data analysis tools.


• Prepare financial models to support M&A transactions, project finance, fundraising, valuations, and business planning.


• Validate model outputs, identify inconsistencies or errors, and perform model checks, reconciliations, and quality assurance.


• Present complex financial analysis and modelling outputs clearly to senior management, investors, and key stakeholders.


• Review and improve existing financial models through automation, improved model structure, enhanced functionality, and streamlined reporting processes.


• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to understand financial drivers and translate them into meaningful modelling assumptions and outputs.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.


• Proven experience in financial modelling, FP&A, investment analysis, corporate finance, valuation, or a similar role.


• Strong understanding of financial statements and the relationship between P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.


• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and financial modelling techniques.


• Hands-on experience with DCF, NPV, IRR, comparable company analysis, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.


• Ability to work with large datasets and translate financial information into actionable insights.


• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.


• Experience supporting M&A, project finance, fundraising, investment analysis, or strategic planning is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial modelling standards and best practices.


• Knowledge of Power BI, VBA, Python, or other automation/data analytics tools is an advantage.


• Experience working with Australian, UK, or other international financial reporting environments is a plus.


• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of key business and financial drivers.
