A healthcare organization in Cavite, Philippines, seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will have a CPA license, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in the healthcare industry. This role requires advanced analytical abilities and a commitment to confidentiality.
Oversee all accounting, finance, and internal control functions of the hospital.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
Manage hospital budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
Monitor revenue cycle processes, including patient billing, collections, reimbursements, and third-party payor settlements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, healthcare regulations, and hospital policies.
Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard hospital assets and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Supervise finance and accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with external and internal auditors, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.
Support hospital leadership by providing financial insights and recommendations for strategic planning and cost optimization.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and investments to ensure financial stability of the hospital.
Collaborate with department heads to monitor departmental budgets and operational efficiency.
Oversee fixed asset management, procurement accounting, and inventory controls for medical and non-medical supplies.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
Experience in a hospital, healthcare, or related industry is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), tax compliance, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and people management abilities.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality.
Ability to communicate effectively with executives, medical professionals, and non-finance staff.
