Job summary

Max's Group Inc. is seeking a Finance Analyst to deliver accurate financial analysis and strategic insights for SBU leadership in decision making.

You will report on revenues, costs, actuals vs forecast, and variances, guiding actions with KPIs and financial implications. The role requires a bachelor's in accountancy, at least two years in accounting/finance, audit knowledge, and strong Excel skills; experience with statutory reports and GAAP/IFRS is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of B.S. Accountancy or any business-related courses.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting and finance function, with external and internal audit knowledge.
• Updated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Accounting Standards; working knowledge of accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate financial analysis and strategic insights to SBUs for decision making.
• Interpret monthly financial results (revenues, costs, variance analysis) and KPI trends to drive performance.
• Support process improvements and feasibility studies for new revenue opportunities.

Job description

• To provide accurate, transparent, and timely financial analysis and strategic insight to support SBU leadership in decision making process; clearly articulate financial implications of business decisions / choices, and provide retrospective analysis as well as drive forward looking actions on the SBUs.
• To drive the analysis requirements for SBUs; be responsible for the execution of financial processes and interpretation of monthly financial and business analysis (e.g. revenues and costs, actual vs. forecast, variances, KPIs driving financial performance) for SBUs
• To render useful insights into performance metrics, showing the financial implications of decisions and helping the business to get approval of the SBUs budget and investment proposals
• To support process and system improvement opportunities by participating in change initiatives and investigating the feasibility of new revenue streams as well as post investment reviews
• Graduate of B.S. Accountancy or any business-related courses
• Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting and finance function, with external and internal audit knowledge, and in-depth financial analysis
• Technical Skills; Working knowledge of MS Office especially MS Excel, In depth knowledge of Government Statutory Requirements and Reports, Updated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International, Accounting Standards, Working knowledge of any Accounting System
