Job summary

Zuellig Pharma in the Philippines is seeking a Finance Analyst focused on accounting close processes and GP analysis. You will support the Finance Manager in implementing General Accounting policies and ensuring timely management reports.

The role requires a degree in accounting (CPA preferred), at least 1 year in accounting in a distribution environment, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in SAP and Vistex is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or related course; CPA preferred.
• At least 1 year in accounting in an integrated system environment, preferably in distribution.
• Understanding of AP and inventory management procedures.
• Familiar with accounting, inventory, sales and warehouse operations.
• Analytical, accurate, with initiative and good judgment.
• Well-organized, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in computer use.

Responsibilities

• Perform gross profit analysis and ensure GP reports are accurate.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable, consignment clearing, and related accounts.
• Prepare month-end adjustments and journal entries.
• Coordinate with principals, treasury, and other departments.
• Ensure timely submission of payment proposals and reports.
• Attend principal meetings and address concerns.
• Reconcile accounts and verify pricing and terms in SAP/Vistex.
