Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Manila is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis professional to support cost management, forecasting, and financial reporting for warehouse and logistics operations.

You will analyse data, develop policies, and collaborate with warehouse teams to drive efficiency and cost savings, while ensuring compliance with controls and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, verify, and dispute financial data and invoices related to warehouse and logistics operations.
• Track, measure, and report on cost management, including direct operational costs such as warehouse rental, labour, MHE, materials, and indirect costs.
• Prepare cost analyses for warehouse operations and logistics costs to support management decisions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures related to warehouse cost management.
• Support monthly forecasting, and P&L analysis during MBR.
• Support annual budget planning, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with warehouse and logistics teams.
• Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, and performance dashboards for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and internal/external reviews.
• Monitor and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring data integrity and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Collaborate with warehouse managers, inventory analysts, and contract managers to analyze operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide financial insights to support process optimization, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance warehouse efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Support the implementation and use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and financial software for data analysis and reporting.
• Identify financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate cost overruns and inefficiencies.
• Conduct benchmarking and comparative analysis to ensure best practices in contract logistics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial reporting and operational processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in logistics finance.
