Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and current financial situation.
  • Financial Planning & Advice: Develop personalized financial plans and investment strategies that align with client objectives. Advise clients on a range of financial matters, including retirement, estate planning, tax strategies, and insurance.
  • Investment Strategies: Guide clients in selecting appropriate investment options, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other securities. Monitor and adjust portfolios as needed to align with changing goals or market conditions.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all financial recommendations comply with industry regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Business Development: Continuously seek new clients through referrals, networking, and prospecting. Promote the company's services and expand the client base.
  • Ongoing Education: Stay informed about financial trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date advice.
  • Sales & Performance Metrics: Achieve individual and team goals related to sales, client retention, and overall business growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Advisor or in a similar financial services role.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, retirement planning, and tax laws.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial planning software.
  • Series 7, 63, 65, or 66 licenses (or willingness to obtain) depending on jurisdiction.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
