Role Description

The Financial Advisor will help clients assess their financial goals and develop personalized plans covering protection, savings, and long-term wealth-building. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting financial planning consultations, presenting appropriate insurance and investment solutions, and guiding clients through retirement and health coverage options. The role involves maintaining regular communication with clients, providing ongoing advisory support, and keeping accurate records of client interactions and recommendations. The Financial Advisor is also expected to stay informed about Sun Life’s product offerings, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to help clients build tailored financial strategies.
• Knowledge of Finance and Investments to explain product features, risks, and benefits clearly and responsibly.
• Experience or competency in Retirement Planning to support clients in preparing for long-term income and healthcare needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote, part-time setting.
• Ability to understand client needs, analyze financial information, and provide ethical, client-centered recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications or licenses are an advantage.
