Job summary

MicroSourcing in Metro Manila is seeking a Finance Support Team Leader to drive embedded finance support across six verticals. You will oversee transactional finance administration, ensuring accurate cost tracking, client billing, and strict financial controls to enable Account Managers to focus on growth and client relationships.

The role requires 2+ years in finance operations, strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, and experience with billing apps and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, or related field (or equivalent).
• 2+ years in finance, billing, or transactional finance roles.
• Experience leading a team is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial operations, billing and controls.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with billing apps and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing processes to ensure invoices match terms, volumes, and data.
• Validate and process Cash Advances, Liquidations, Reimbursements, and RFPs.
• Manage finance ticket queue end-to-end with a single point of entry.
• Compute incentives and resolve first-level salary/payroll disputes.
• Oversee petty cash replenishment and reconciliations.
• Support production of financial reports, MIS, and headcount data using Power BI.

Your Role

The Finance Support Team Leader is a critical operational role within the Shared Services organization, driving the day-to-day execution of embedded finance support across six distinct verticals. Acting as a working team lead, this position oversees transactional finance administration, ensuring accurate cost tracking, seamless client billing, and strict enforcement of financial controls. By managing these core operations, the supervisor enables Account Managers to focus entirely on organic growth and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Billing & Cost Operations: Supervise client billing processes to ensure invoices accurately reflect approved commercial terms, service volumes, and data. Manage the capture of billable costs, flag chargeables prior to cutoff, and execute pre-billing audits—particularly for HMO lines to resolve client disputes.
• Transaction Processing: Review, validate, and process Cash Advances (CAs), Liquidations, Reimbursements, and Requests for Payment (RFPs) before endorsement to Corporate Finance.
• Ticketing System Management: Oversee the finance ticket queue end-to-end, ensuring all incoming requests are captured through a single front door and tracked to completion without lost communications.
• Disputes & Incentives Execution: Compute incentives, implement approved schemes, and triage first-level salary and payroll disputes.
• Petty Cash Control: Manage petty cash replenishment workflows, monitor liquidation aging, and perform reconciliations.
• Reporting & Compliance Support: Assist in delivering decision-ready financial reports, MIS, and headcount data by Workday 5 of each month, while ensuring enterprise controls are consistently applied using reporting tools like Power BI.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, particularly in Finance, Accountancy, Financial Management, Business, or related discipline. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in equivalent finance, billing, financial administration, or transactional finance roles.
• Leadership or team lead experience is an advantage. Prior experience managing people is preferred.
• Financial Operations: Working knowledge of financial administration, billing operations, transactional finance, and basic financial controls.
• Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets, with hands‑on experience using the Billing App, financial systems, and workflow or ticketing platforms.
• Ability to manage operational queues, monitor SLAs and turnaround times, prioritize workloads, and support escalation management in a high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to investigate billing or financial discrepancies, address concerns, and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrates the ability to coordinate work, provide guidance to team members, take ownership of operational outcomes, and support continuous improvement. Prior people‑management experience is an advantage.
