Job summary

Position Title: Finance Supervisor

Department: Finance

Report to: Finance Manager

Location: CAPITAL HOUSE, BGC MANILA

Employment Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday)

Job Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting and Reporting

• Handle daily accounting operations and review vouchers to ensure consistency between accounts, physical assets, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and review reimbursement and payment documents in a timely manner.
• Manage tax filings and annual tax settlements; coordinate with tax audits and implement appropriate tax planning strategies.

2. Cash and Budget Management

• Manage company cash flow to ensure fund security and smooth operations.
• Monitor payment execution, analyze variances, and propose improvements.
• Review expense expenditures to enhance the efficiency of fund utilization.

3. Financial Oversight and Internal Control

• Develop and refine financial management policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks.
• Oversee asset inventory checks to ensure the security and integrity of company assets.
• Coordinate with internal and external audits and implement necessary corrective actions.

4. Team Management and Collaboration

• Assign tasks to, supervise, and evaluate the performance of accounting and cashier staff.
• Coordinate relationships with business departments and external entities such as banks, tax authorities, and the Administration for Market Regulation.

5. Financial System Maintenance and Decision Support

• Manage and maintain financial systems and provide data support.
• Participate in operational meetings and offer recommendations on business plans from a financial perspective.
• Complete other finance-related tasks assigned by superiors.

3. Qualifications Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA or equivalent professional certification is a strong advantage.

Experience

At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in finance/accounting.

Demonstrated experience in general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Strong working knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and tax regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software such as Yonyou, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or NetSuite.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Ability to exercise initiative and escalated issues appropriately to the Finance Manager.
