Job summary

Jobtailor is looking for an Accountant to support month-end close, ensure accuracy of general ledger data, and prepare balance sheet reconciliations. You will coordinate with other finance teams to resolve items and ensure compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 1+ year of related experience (CPA preferred), and strong Excel/ERP skills. Collaboration across departments for capital expenditures is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 1+ year in fixed assets, general accounting, or audit.
• Proficient in MS Excel with PivotTables and lookups.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.

• Perform month end closing activities including journals and variance analysis.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of general ledger data.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and clear reconciling items.
• Coordinate with other finance teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
• Prepare reports for management and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform month end closing activities such as preparation of journals and flux / variance analysis
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of underlying financial data for general ledger accounts
• Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliation for accounts and ensure that all reconciling items are cleared timely
• Coordinate with other finance teams and resolve reconciling items
• Execute processes and tasks in compliance with US GAAP and local statutory
• Prepare required reports needed by management and other departments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Certified Public Accountant / CPA highly preferred)
• At least 1 year of combined experience in fixed assets, general accounting, or audit
• Proficiency in MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of collaborating with various departments for capital expenditures
