Job summary

CITIC CLSA is seeking a Senior Accountant/Financial Reporting professional to join our global finance team in the Philippines. The role focuses on accurate financial statements, month-end close, regulatory reporting and strong internal controls to ensure compliance with local and international standards.

You will collaborate with treasury, tax and audit teams, handle SAP-based processes, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance is required.
• 5–7 years of accounting and financial reporting experience preferred in multinational contexts.
• Proficient communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of local tax matters.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Head Office reporting: Assist in month end close activities including posting entries and responding to queries.
• Local regulatory reporting: Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports to regulators.
• Invoice processing: Assist in processing vendor payments.
• Treasury management: Monitor cash flow and coordinate with banks for deposits.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze expenses and ensure proper accounting of operating costs.
• Audit support: Liaise with auditors and provide required documentation.
• Tax Compliance: File all tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable laws including Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy of records.
