Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a growing multinational outsourcing company in Cebu to appoint a Finance & Accounting leader who will drive the finance function and partner with stakeholders across borders. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles within multinational BPO, outsourcing, shared services.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine financial regulations, accounting standards, ERP systems, Xero, and cross-border reporting requirements.
• Proven expertise in financial management, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, risk management, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated strengths in leadership, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, process improvement, integrity, and business partnering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance and accounting function, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational growth.
• Partner with local and international stakeholders to support financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial reports and management information.
• Ensure local compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and corporate governance policies.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance monitoring across the business.
• Direct all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and financial close activities.
• Maintain strong internal controls, risk management frameworks, and process governance to protect company assets.
• Oversee cash flow management, treasury operations, banking relationships, and working capital optimization.
• Provide commercial and financial support for pricing, contracts, business cases, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Lead, develop and mentor the finance team while driving technology and AI adoption, automation, and continuous process improvements.
