Job summary

BB Wave Inc. is seeking a Finance Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations in Taguig. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, support business decisions through analysis, and oversee gaming revenue tracking, payments, and controls for gaming operations.

The role requires 2-5 years of finance/accounting experience, strong knowledge of BIR regulations, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel. On-site work in BGC, Taguig City, with a Monday–Saturday schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA an advantage but not required.
• 2-5 years of finance or accounting experience; gaming/tech/digital entertainment preferred.
• Knowledge of BIR regulations, tax compliance, and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Oversee daily financial transactions, including tax compliance, audit requirements, and general accounting functions.
• Coordinate with external accounting partners to prepare tax returns and ensure BIR compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable BIR issuances and regulatory requirements.
• Track gaming revenue, player transactions, subscriptions, in-game purchases, and digital payment reconciliations.
• Process and validate deposits and withdrawals accurately and on time.
• Monitor payment gateways in real time and resolve delays or failures.
• Assist Customer Service with finance-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper transaction tagging and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Ensure timely and accurate updates of financial files and reports.
• Investigate and report recurring discrepancies or operational issues.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations.
• Support audit activities, checks, and financial validations.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for efficiency and control.
• Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements, when required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by immediate superior and management from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA is an advantage but not required.
• 2-5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the gaming, technology, or digital entertainment industry.
• Knowledge of BIR regulations, tax compliance, and reporting requirements.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience using accounting software (ERP systems or similar platforms) is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of digital payment platforms and online transaction reconciliation is preferred.
• Familiarity with financial compliance requirements in the gaming industry is an advantage.
• Ability to perform filing, documentation, and record-keeping tasks.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Amenable to work in BGC, Taguig City.
• Willing to work on a Monday to Saturday schedule.
