Job description
We are currently seeking a qualified FINANCE OFFICER for School Year 2026-2027 to provide support to our school's mission and vision to form future leaders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting systems.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing and monitoring the school budget.
- Ensure timely payment of obligations, including suppliers, utilities, and government remittances.
- Process payroll and monitor employee benefits and deductions.
Tuition and Receivables Management
- Oversee billing and collection of tuition and other school charges.
- Receive and process payments from parents and other stakeholders through check, bank transfer, or digital payment platforms.
- Issue official receipts and maintain accurate records of collections.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with parents regarding payment concerns and schedules when necessary.
- Maintain organized and secure filing of financial and collection records.
Compliance and Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, tax requirements, and school financial policies.
- Prepare documentation for audits and coordinate with external auditors.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information.
- Recommend and implement internal control procedures to safeguard school assets.
Procurement and Disbursement
- Review purchase requests and verify budget availability.
- Process reimbursements, liquidation reports, and disbursement requests.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers regarding payments and documentation.
Administrative Support
- Support school leadership in financial planning and decision-making.
- Assist in developing financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments regarding budget utilization and financial concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in an educational institution.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Applicants must be willing to work in Nuvali, Calamba, Laguna. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
