Executive search firm Monroe Consulting PH is recruiting a Finance Manager on behalf of a reputable pharmaceutical distribution company. The role will be primarily responsible for the financial well-being of the organization. This is a work onsite setup based in Quezon City.
About the role:
Finance Manager is responsible on the overall financial well-being of the organization. He/she must provide financial insights and recommendations and help develop strategies and plans for the organization's long-term financial objectives. Produce timely, reliable and accurate financial reports and other financial performance analysis. Ensure achieving financial goals (profitability, growth, stability and liquidity) through effective budget planning, monitoring and control, designing and implementing effective and efficient internal controls, analyzing relevant financial data to maximize profit and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and forecast and ensure reliability, and integrity of financial and management reports
- Periodically review and analyze the organization's financial reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction and profit maximization
- Manages cash flow and overall working capital requirements
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth/expansion
- Help the Company develop financial strategies and plans for long-term financial objectives
- Design and implement effective processes and controls to ensure integrity of financial reporting
- Ensure that the organization's financial records are reliable, complete and properly classified and recordkeeping methods are in compliance with applicable standards and regulations to avoid or minimize possible risks or losses due to noncompliance.
- Annually plans financial budget, design effective process flow and control in budget monitoring and control to ensure achieving financial goals
- Reviews and analyzes feasibility and profitability of the Company's strategic initiatives and business programs including marketing activities
- Designs and implements optimal business processes and internal controls to ensure that the Company is operating efficiently & effectively, all assets are properly safeguarded and to avoid unnecessary losses due to misappropriation/fraud.
- Review of contracts, tie-up deals, rebates, discounts, etc
- Managerial responsibilities:
- Plan and strategize Annual Finance Department's objective and direction
- Lead the department in executing impactful initiatives and measurement thereof
- Manage employees who are responsible for financial reporting and budgeting
- Competency and Performance Development of Finance personnel
Key Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
- With at least 5 years general experience in finance, general accounting, taxation and any related field
- With at least 2 years Managerial experience in Finance and/or any related field
- Must be an agile professional who embraces change, collaborates effectively, and continuously improves processes
- Must be willing to work onsite in Quezon City
