Job summary

Converge Studios Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager - Financial Reporting to partner with senior management, drive budgeting, forecasting, and robust financial reporting. Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting frameworks.
• Prepare estimates for funds required to meet short- and long-term objectives.
• Produce monthly financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead month-end and year-end close and prepare accurate financial reports.
• Deliver variance analyses and financial insights to improve performance.
• Develop and monitor KPIs showing the organization's financial health.
• Maintain an optimal mix of equity and debt to minimize financing costs.
• Develop strategies for securing funding from banks and financial institutions.
• Evaluate financial performance with ROI and other metrics.
• Act as a strategic finance partner to senior management and CICT counterparts.
• Continuously improve financial processes and systems for efficiency.

Role: Finance Manager - Financial Reporting

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks, initiatives, and projects in alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting frameworks.
• Prepare estimates for funds required to meet the organization's short-term and long-term financial objectives.
• Produce monthly financial forecasts that support strategic decision-making.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes and complete accurate financial reports on a timely basis.
• Deliver variance analyses, financial insights, and recommendations that improve business performance.
• Develop and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs that show the organization's financial health.
• Maintain an optimal mix of equity and debt that minimizes financing costs and supports operating profitability.
• Develop strategies for, and secure, funding from banks and other financial institutions to support growth and operations.
• Evaluate financial performance, including measuring and analyzing returns on investments.
• Act as a strategic finance business partner to senior management and to CICT counterparts, providing financial insights that influence business planning and strategy.
• Continuously improve financial processes and systems to raise operational efficiency and financial transparency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• With experience working in IT industry and has 5-10+ years in finance, accounting, or financial analysis.
• Has advanced knowledge in Google Sheets/Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Quickbooks), financial reporting software, presentation tools (PowerPoint).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Willing to report onsite.
