Job summary

Hospital Authority invites applications for a Finance Intern position under the HA Finance Internship Programme. The role requires full-time undergraduate students in Finance/Accounting, fluency in Chinese and English, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The incumbents will work 5 days a week for four months (Jan 2027–Apr 2027) to support day-to-day finance operations and ad-hoc projects across HA Head Office and clusters.

Qualifications

• Completion of F.5 / S.5.
• Full-time undergraduates currently undertaking a Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, and related business studies (Year 2 or above).
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese (including Cantonese) and English.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Selected candidates will be offered temporary contract appointment up to 4 months (Jan–Apr 2027).
• Selected candidates will be posted to the Finance Division of HA Head Office or Clusters.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data collection and information analysis.
• Support payments, payroll, revenue collection and billing processes.
• Assist in financial accounting, management reporting and closing exercises.
• Review and document workflow and internal control procedures.
• Support non-cash payment projects and ad-hoc initiatives.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
