Job summary

Hutchinson Group is seeking a senior finance executive to oversee the Mexican plants' finance functions and lead North America financial operations. The role focuses on budgeting, cost accounting, reporting standards, and continual process improvements across NAFTA locations.

The position reports to the President & CEO, coordinating with headquarters and operations to drive accurate budgeting, cost control, and compliant financial practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing plant operations background.
• Cost accounting experience including budgeting and planning for 10+ years.
• Supervisory experience with subordinate personnel (4–5 years).
• Familiarity with computer software, operations, and system analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to the Finance Department for North America and Mexico.
• Creates and updates procedures, policies, and documentation for NA and CNQ/CQ reporting.
• Defines forms for internal reporting in NAFTA and standard reporting requirements (AP/AR/Inventory).
• Standardizes AR control and supports cost reporting objectives.
• Develops system tooling recovery and applies it to FMS NAFTA plants.
• Supports budgeting, cost accounting, audits, and cost improvement opportunities.
• Implements tax and import/export control plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Trains on new systems (ONE, XA, E-REQ) and assists in system rollout.
• Interfaces with headquarters and operations to support budget development.
