LF LENDING SERVICES CORPORATION in Manila is looking for a senior finance leader to drive financial strategy, budgeting, and performance analytics under the CFO. The role requires hands-on FP&A, strong modelling, and the ability to build controls and scalable financial processes.

Execute and implement the company's financial strategy under the guidance of the CFO, supporting the achievement of overall business objectives.
Participate in annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning, while developing and continuously improving the budgeting framework.
Lead financial analysis, business performance analysis, and financial modelling to support business decisions, resource allocation, market expansion, and pricing strategies.
Prepare financial reports, management reports, business performance analyses, and decision-support materials as required by the CFO and senior management.
Develop and optimize the financial management framework, cost allocation methodology, and key financial performance indicators in line with the company's stage of development.
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, payments, expense management, payroll, taxation, and related financial processes.
Establish and enhance an internal control framework that meets both business requirements and applicable Philippine regulatory standards, ensuring financial compliance and fund security.
Manage cash flow, treasury planning, and working capital to improve the efficiency of capital utilization.
Coordinate audits, tax filings, regulatory reporting, and communication with external auditors, tax advisers, legal counsel, and other professional service providers.
Identify risks relating to financial operations, taxation, regulatory compliance, cash management, and internal controls, and drive the implementation of practical solutions.
Act as a strategic finance business partner, providing data-driven financial insights to support business optimization and resource allocation.
Analyze business profitability, cost structures, customer acquisition costs, funding costs, and key operating metrics to support business strategy adjustments.
Support fundraising activities, due diligence, and the preparation of relevant financial materials and documentation.
Lead financial coordination between the Manila-based team and the China-based team, with regular business travel to China as required.
Support local finance, operations, and compliance matters in the Philippines and facilitate the implementation of cross-border financial processes.
During new business setup and rapid growth stages, identify financial risks, process gaps, and management weaknesses, and ensure that financial systems develop in parallel with the business.
Build, manage, coach, and develop the local finance team in the Philippines.
Define the division of responsibilities and collaboration model between the Philippine finance team and the China-based support team.
Establish finance team operating standards, reporting lines, approval mechanisms, and risk escalation procedures.
Lead capability development, performance management, and quality improvement across the finance team.
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, or a related discipline. CPA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
At least 7–10 years of relevant finance experience, including 3–5 years in a finance leadership or management role.
Direct experience in fintech, payments, digital lending, consumer finance, or broader financial services is required.
Strong understanding of the Philippine financial regulatory environment. Experience dealing with regulators such as the BSP and SEC is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, including BIR requirements, as well as applicable financial regulatory and compliance obligations.
Proven hands-on experience in FP&A, budgeting, business performance analysis, and complex financial modelling.
Must be based in Manila and willing to travel regularly to China according to business needs.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required, both spoken and written. Strong English communication skills are also essential.
Must be able to work effectively with Philippine teams, China-based teams, and regional or global stakeholders in both Chinese and English.
Strong ownership, resilience, and problem-solving capability, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing start-up or new-business environment.
MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification.
Proficiency in major ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle, as well as modern FP&A tools.
Strong leadership, structured problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented, with the ability to drive solutions in an environment with limited resources and evolving processes.
Experience in overseas business setup, new market entry, cross-border finance, or Southeast Asian markets.
Proven ability to build a finance function from the ground up, including financial processes, budgeting systems, internal controls, and management reporting.
Experience working with Chinese companies, China-based teams, or cross-border China–Philippines operations is highly preferred.
