Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines seeks a Sr. Finance Data Analyst to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting, dashboards, and insights to support business decisions across Finance, Data & Analytics, and stakeholders.

You will build and maintain finance dashboards for budgeting and month-end, analyze large datasets, govern data quality, and collaborate with analytics teams to ensure consistent reporting and actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, mathematics, CS.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, BI, reporting analytics, or finance analytics.
• Strong SQL skills with large dataset querying.
• Experience building dashboards/reports using Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and month-end processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Finance Data Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and insights to support business decision-making. Working closely with Finance, Data & Analytics, and business stakeholders, this role develops dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that support month-end reporting, forecasting, budgeting, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong SQL and BI reporting skills with a solid understanding of finance processes and data analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting Analytics, or Finance Analytics.
• Strong SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing large datasets.
• Experience building dashboards and reports using Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, month-end processes, and finance controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in telecommunications, financial services, or other data-driven industries.
• Exposure to data preparation and transformation tools such as Alteryx, dbt, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Python or R for analytics and automation.
• Understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance.
• Experience supporting KPI frameworks, forecasting models, and executive reporting.
