Job summary

HRTx Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager for our Canlubang Plant in Calamba, Laguna. This full-time onsite role leads financial reporting, budgeting, and control functions, collaborating with the CEO and operations team to drive strategic financial decisions.

The ideal candidate has a CPA with at least 8 years in manufacturing finance, with strong experience in costing, budgeting, and cash management. A background with top-tier audits is highly preferred, and readiness for a Finance Controller

Qualifications

• Must be a CPA with exceptional financial, analytical, and business acumen.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Solid background in manufacturing, preferably Pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors.
• Extensive experience in financial reporting, management accounting, costing, budgeting, analysis and controls.
• Proven experience or knowledge in managing investments and working capital strategy.
• Prior work experience or training from a top-tier audit firm (SGV & Co or similar) is highly preferred.
• Strong numerical accuracy, analytical depth, strategic thinking and executive decision-making ability.
• Proven track record of collaboration with senior management and leadership; readiness for Finance Controller role within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end financial reporting and management accounting processes for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, costing, and variance analysis to optimize plant expenses.
• Enforce strong internal controls to protect assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Manage investments, cash flow, and working capital to maximize liquidity and returns.

• Prepare for progression into broader operational and strategic leadership responsibilities as Finance Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end financial reporting and management accounting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, cost accounting, and variance analysis to optimize plant operational expenditures and manufacturing costs.
• Evaluate, establish, and enforce strong internal financial controls to protect assets and ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
• Perform complex financial analyses, profitability studies, and scenario modeling to guide senior management in strategic business decisions.
• Manage corporate financial investments, cash flow, and working capital to ensure liquidity and maximized financial returns.
• Partner closely with the CEO and operations team to provide strategic financial guidance on plant performance and commercial initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, reporting tools, and accounting workflows across the organization.
• Prepare for immediate progression into broader operational and strategic leadership responsibilities as the prospective Finance Controller.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with exceptional financial, analytical, and business acumen.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Solid background in the manufacturing industry, preferably within Pharmaceutical or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors.
• Extensive experience and demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, management accounting, costing, budgeting, financial analysis, and financial controls.
• Proven experience or solid knowledge in managing financial investments and working capital strategy.
• Prior work experience or formal training from SGV & Co. or another top-tier audit firm is highly preferred.
• Strong numerical accuracy, analytical depth, strategic thinking, and high-level decision-making capability.
• Proven track record of collaborating effectively with senior management and executive leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership potential, resilience, and readiness to assume a Finance Controller role within 12 months.
