Job summary

HRTX is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead end-to-end financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls at the Canlubang Plant in Calamba, Laguna.

The role requires CPA certification, 8+ years in manufacturing finance, and a proven ability to guide senior leadership with financial analysis and strategic planning. You will drive cost optimization, working capital management, and system improvements while preparing for broader leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• CPA with exceptional financial, analytical, and business acumen.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry background, preferably within Pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors.
• Extensive experience in financial reporting, management accounting, costing, budgeting, financial analysis, and financial controls.
• Proven experience or solid knowledge in managing financial investments and working capital strategy.
• Prior work experience or formal training from SGV & Co. or another top-tier audit firm is highly preferred.
• Strong numerical accuracy, analytical depth, strategic thinking, and high-level decision-making capability.
• Proven track record of collaborating effectively with senior management and executive leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership potential, resilience, and readiness to assume a Finance Controller role within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end financial reporting and management accounting processes for accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and variance analysis to optimize plant costs.
• Establish and enforce strong internal financial controls to protect assets and ensure compliance.
• Perform complex financial analyses, profitability studies, and scenario modeling for senior management.
• Manage investments, cash flow, and working capital to ensure liquidity and returns.
• Partner with CEO and operations to provide strategic financial guidance on plant performance.
• Drive improvements in financial systems, reporting tools, and accounting workflows.
• Prepare for progression into broader operational and strategic leadership as Finance Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, establish, and enforce strong internal financial controls to protect assets and ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
• Perform complex financial analyses, profitability studies, and scenario modeling to guide senior management in strategic business decisions.
• Manage corporate financial investments, cash flow, and working capital to ensure liquidity and maximized financial returns.
• Partner closely with the CEO and operations team to provide strategic financial guidance on plant performance and commercial initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, reporting tools, and accounting workflows across the organization.
• Prepare for immediate progression into broader operational and strategic leadership responsibilities as the prospective Finance Controller.
