Overview

Job Summary: The Finance Assistant will support the accounting department by performing various clerical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role is crucial in assisting with the accurate and timely completion of financial records and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry and Management: Enter financial data into accounting software and hard copies accurately and timely.

  • Invoice Processing: Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable invoices, ensuring all invoices are approved and paid on time.

  • Reconciliations: Perform bank and account reconciliations monthly, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved.

  • Expense Reporting: Assist in preparing and reviewing expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Filing and Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation, both electronic and paper-based on Sales Invoice, Delivery Receipts, etc.

  • Countering: Coordinating with Sales Team and Admin Team regarding countering of documents.

  • Payment Posting: Following up payment from customers and reconciling payments with stystem.

  • Payroll Processing: Processing the payroll and benefits of employees

  • BIR Filing: Complying with all BIR filing and payments, and keeping up to date on requirements.

  • Task Management: Manages tasks of finance team and coordinates with them

  • General Support: Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, copying, and other clerical tasks as needed.
