Description:

  • In charge of reviewing and checking all reports - internal (e.g. PM and field) or external to the program (Trial Balance to CHO for consolidation, to donors, to creditors, etc.)
  • In charge of monitoring actual financial performance vis-à-vis budget approved by BOT.
  • Participates actively in program management by providing financial and portfolio analysis to Program Manager or whomever user needs it.
  • Ensures timely preparation of loan releases and collection, CBU withdrawals and deposits, CBU offset.
  • Ensures coordination with field operations to improve efficiency of services delivery.
  • Is the entry point for internal and external audits: provides guidance and support on all audit aspects.
  • Ensures timely preparations of monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Encoding of cash vouchers and signing of checks are part of the duties, but preparations of checks are out.
Requirements
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience Level: 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance and administration
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficient in SAP, financial management, and auditing
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of financial statements, reconciliations, and billing processes
