Job summary

Arch Global Services Philippines in Manila seeks a Finance Data Analyst Team Lead to oversee day-to-day operations and drive accurate financial reporting.

You will coach a team, coordinate reconciliations, partner with US Finance stakeholders, and identify improvements to reporting quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Finance Data Analyst team.
• Monitor team deliverables and ensure work is completed accurately and within established timelines.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members.
• Review and validate reporting, analysis, and reconciliation outputs.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex reporting, reconciliation, and data-related issues.
• Support management and business stakeholders in producing analysis and reporting to drive business accountability and measure performance.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and insights.
• Produce and review recurring and ad hoc reports for business and finance stakeholders.
• Utilize information from third parties and business units to report financial results in support of business management.
• Research and resolve premium, claims, and expense discrepancies between front-end systems and financial reporting systems.
• Perform and oversee financial analysis, general ledger reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Investigate and resolve complex data reconciliation issues.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information used in reporting.
• Develop strong working relationships with business units, operational leaders, and Finance stakeholders.
• Provide assistance, reconciliations, and support as required by internal and external partners.
• Serve as a key liaison between the analyst team and US Finance stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Support special projects and ad hoc reporting requirements as needed.
• Promote best practices, consistency, and process discipline across the team.
