Job summary

ECLARO is seeking a Finance Analyst in Taguig to support daily accounting operations and assist with monthly and quarterly financial schedules. The role focuses on complex bank reconciliations, accruals, and accurate recording of expenses, with a strong emphasis on US GAAP and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will contribute to process improvements and work independently to adapt to evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in financial reporting or accounting operations.
• CPA or similar designation preferred.
• Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Office; ERP experience with bank reconciliations and fixed assets.
• Strong analytical, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and proactive status updates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile bank reconciliations for complex accounts.
• Assist with bank-related inquiries, payments processing, and operating expenses.
• Maintain fixed asset module with accurate records and roll forwards.
• Maintain account reconciliations with variance analysis and issue resolution.
• Prepare accruals and period-end journal entries for accurate reporting.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes and schedules.
• Support process improvement, system enhancements, and data cleanup to strengthen controls.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting operations and ad hoc inquiries.
