Job summary

Canon Business Services Centre Philippines is seeking a Finance Analyst to ensure accurate journal entries, timely month-end reporting, and robust general ledger reconciliations to support Oceania financial decisions.

The role supports CFA and consolidated accounts with emphasis on controls, reconciliations, and timely reporting to stakeholders. Strong ERP experience and GAAP/IFRS knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g.Real Time, Microsoft D365, TM1, BlackLine).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP / IFRS, foreign currency transactions, and intercompany frameworks.
• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools.
• With excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Good level of initiative
• Efficient time management

Responsibilities

• Post journal entries on time for monthly reporting.
• Process month-end journals before finalising CFA & Consolidated accounts.
• Finalize year-end accounts with review of provisions.
• Coordinate and ensure general ledger reconciliations and reviews in Blackline.
• Clear reconciling items promptly; escalate material issues.
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliation and clearing overdue items.
