Qualifications

• Graduate of any telecommunications-related course or possesses equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in telecommunications installation, maintenance, or technical support is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain telecom systems, equipment, and network devices.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of voice, data, and signal transmission issues.
• Conduct testing and analysis using telecom tools.
• Handle fiber optic and copper cabling installation, splicing, and termination.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on telecommunications infrastructure.
• Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

Skills

Installation and configuration of telecom systems and equipment

Network cabling (Fiber Optic / UTP) and signal testing

Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance

Knowledge of switches, routers, and network devices
