Job summary

Adani Transmission is seeking an Assistant Manager - Field Quality Assurance to lead site QA activities. You will coordinate inspections with O&M engineers, oversee NDT testing, and ensure integrity of boilers, turbines and auxiliaries across projects.

The role emphasizes adherence to IMS, AWMS and safety standards while driving continuous improvement. The position requires 6+ years in quality assurance within power or heavy industry, plus a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality assurance/control with leadership in heavy industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in QMS, IMS, AWMS and CHETNA standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct site inspections with O&M engineers per procedures and standards.
• Execute all inspection activities of BTG and BOP, including PDI of materials and spares.
• Inspect boiler, pressure parts, welding, turbine and auxiliaries.
• Perform visual inspections and witness DPT/MPT/UT/RT testing for equipment integrity.
• Monitor thickness surveys of boiler parts, coal bunkers, valves and rotary parts.
• Arrange PDI inspections of procurement material/spares and provide MDCC.
• Support third-party inspections and certifications of safety equipment.
