Job summary

Our Clients is seeking skilled Electricians to join the Field team in the Philippines. You will install, wire, and commission rooftop and ground-mounted PV systems, residential single-phase and commercial three-phase electrical work, and EV charging infrastructure on active job sites.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrician (PRC license preferred) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on electrical installation experience.
• Working knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC).
• Experience with solar PV system wiring and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, single-line drawings, and wiring schematics.
• Own set of basic electrical tools.
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, wire, and commission rooftop and ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Perform DC and AC wiring of solar arrays, inverters, combiner boxes, and distribution panels.
• Route and terminate solar cables (PV wire, MC4 connectors, conduit runs).
• Install and configure monitoring systems and rapid shutdown devices.
• Conduct insulation resistance testing, polarity checks, and Voc/Isc verification.
• Install and maintain single-phase electrical systems for residential solar installations.
• Perform load calculations and panel upgrades to accommodate solar and battery systems.
• Wire sub-panels, transfer switches, and net metering connections.
• Coordinate with utility providers for commercial interconnection and commissioning.
• Install Level 2 and DC fast charging stations (wall-mounted and pedestal units).
• Run dedicated circuits and sub-panels for EV charging infrastructure.

You will be responsible for the electrical installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar energy systems, residential and commercial electrical works, and EV charging infrastructure. This is a hands-on role with significant time spent on project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Solar System Wiring & Installation

• Install, wire, and commission rooftop and ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
• Perform DC and AC wiring of solar arrays, inverters, combiner boxes, and distribution panels
• Route and terminate solar cables (PV wire, MC4 connectors, conduit runs)
• Install and configure monitoring systems and rapid shutdown devices
• Conduct insulation resistance testing, polarity checks, and Voc/Isc verification

Residential Single-Phase Electrical

• Install and maintain single-phase electrical systems for residential solar installations
• Perform load calculations and panel upgrades to accommodate solar and battery systems
• Wire sub-panels, transfer switches, and net metering connections
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and local utility interconnection standards
• Troubleshoot and repair residential electrical faults

Commercial Three-Phase Electrical

• Install and commission three-phase electrical systems for commercial solar projects
• Wire 3-phase inverters, transformers, and switchgear
• Perform power quality analysis and load balancing
• Install protection devices (breakers, fuses, surge protection, ground fault systems)
• Coordinate with utility providers for commercial interconnection and commissioning

EV Charger Installation

• Install Level 2 and DC fast charging stations (wall-mounted and pedestal units)
• Run dedicated circuits and sub-panels for EV charging infrastructure
• Configure load management systems for multi-charger installations
• Perform commissioning, network connectivity setup, and functional testing
• Ensure installations comply with relevant EV charging standards and local regulations

Key Qualifications

• Licensed Electrician (PRC license preferred) or equivalent certification
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on electrical installation experience
• Working knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC)
• Experience with solar PV system wiring and installation
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, single-line drawings, and wiring schematics
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions

Preferred

• Experience with 3-phase commercial electrical systems
• Prior EV charger installation experience (any brand)
• TESDA NC II in Electrical Installation and Maintenance
• Familiarity with inverter brands: EPEver, Growatt, Deye, Huawei
• Valid driver's license
