Job summary

Jevant Technologies is seeking a skilled Splicer to join our Electrical/Electronic Engineering team on a full-time basis in Central Luzon. This hands-on role ensures the quality and reliability of fibre optic and electrical connections for project delivery.

You will perform fusion and mechanical splicing, interpret drawings, test with OTDR, install cable trays, maintain records, and uphold safety standards while collaborating with the project team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Splicer or fibre optic installation role.
• Knowledge of single-mode and multi-mode fibres.
• Proficiency with fusion splicing equipment and mechanical splicing techniques.
• Experience with OTDR testing and other optical testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC/IEC safety standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform fibre optic splicing using fusion and mechanical techniques.
• Prepare and terminate cables per specifications and industry standards.
• Test spliced connections with OTDR and diagnostic equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings and installation plans.
• Install and secure cable trays, ducts, and supporting infrastructure.
• Maintain records of splicing work and test results.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot splicing equipment.
