Responsible for preparing, checking, and improving feed formulas to

meet nutritional targets, production requirements, raw material conditions, and

cost objectives. This role helps ensure that feeds are produced consistency,

efficiently, and in line with approved specifications, quality standards, and

applicable regulations. Works closely with nutrition, production, quality

assurance, purchasing, logistics, and raw material teams to support accurate

formulation, efficient ingredient utilization and reliable feed mill

operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• 1. Prepares and maintain feed formulas based on approved nutrient requirements, ingredient specifications, production standards, and production needs.
• 2. Optimizes feed formulas using formulation software, considering cost, ingredient availability, nutrient balance, production limitations, and feed quality.
• 3. Regularly reviews formulas to ensure nutrient levels, ingredients inclusions, restrictions, and specifications are properly followed.
• 4. Updates formulation records and software data, including ingredient nutrient values, prices, availability, approved limits, and other relevant formulation inputs.
• 5. Coordinates with purchasing and raw material teams regarding ingredient supply, pricing changes, alternative materials, and inventory status.
• 6. Works with production and quality assurance teams to ensure formulas are properly implemented during manufacturing.
• 7. Assess new or substitute raw materials based on nutritional contribution, cost benefit, quality, availability, and suitability for feed production.
• 8. Recommends formulation adjustments that may improve cost efficiency, feed quality, production flow, or product performance.
• 9. Implements approved changes in nutrient specifications, ingredients usage, or formula structure in a timely and accurate manner.
• 10. Supports feed cost analysis, formula pricing, and savings initiatives related to raw material use and formulation decisions.
• 11. Assists in production planning by considering order volume, raw material supply, manufacturing capacity, and efficient use of equipment.
• 12. Participates in improvement projects involving feed formulation, ingredient utilization, process efficiency, and quality consistency.
• 13. Helps identify formulation-related issues and provide practical solutions, while referring more complex concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• 14. Maintains proper documentation of formula changes, ingredient updates, and relevant formulation decisions.
• 15. Follows company policies on safety, quality, hygiene, and proper workplace conduct.
• 16. Practices religiously company rules and regulations on personnel conduct and other policies or programs concerning safety, security, energy and materials conservation.
• 17. Performs other functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
